I am in the process of looking for work for this school year. I am wondering if it is at all possible for anyone who knows of any vacancies coming up in their school if they could kindly post details here?

I am available to cover at very short notice. My subjects are Home Ec., Biology and CSPE. Thank you.

LCA HCT practicals

Hi have Lca for their practicals for the first time this year. Recently recieved the tasks. Just wondering can anyone give me an insight into food service in convenience stores. they are asked to bake scones or muffins and then other foods from that area. Are they referring to just baked foods or also deli, hot food etc.

junior cert cookery

Where can i find the cookery assignments for past years? i have looked on the examinations website and cannot find them.
secondly when do we find out when the cookery practicals are?
I am looking for advice also on how to organise the cookery for the coming weeks so as to have my students as prepared as possibe. This is my first time to have 3rd years and they are a weak group.

Yeast Assignment 2010

Assignment 3 for 2010 Lc - Yeast.

Does anyone know if its acceptable to make pizza for this instead of Bread, the assignment is worded strangely - as in it mentions the popularity of Breads in the quote that starts the queation but then ask you to cook a yeast product. In reading it I assume a yeast dough based pizza is the only reasonable thing to do - time wise! But am having doubts that the marking scheme may expect a bread as it was mentioned in the quote!!!
